Trademarks

Weaverbird Help Desk, the Weaverbird Help Desk logo and weaverbirdworks.com are trademarks of Weaverbird Help Desk. Weaverbird Help Desk is part of the Weaverbird Works family, with Weaverbird Subs and Weaverbird HR. You may not use them in a way that suggests we endorse you, or in any business name, domain, product or social media account that could be confused with ours. Schools using Weaverbird Help Desk may name it and link to us when telling their staff how to use it. Other names and logos, such as Stripe, Twilio, Google and Indeed, belong to their owners.

Text and call terms

Schools that use Weaverbird Help Desk can send their staff and administrators reminders and notices by text message and automated phone call. These terms apply to that program.

  • Consent. You only get texts or automated calls after you agree to them yourself in Weaverbird Help Desk, separately for each; no one can agree for you. Agreeing isn’t required for your job or to use Weaverbird Help Desk.
  • What you’ll get. Messages about tickets you’ve sent or are assigned, urgent alerts for IT, and messages from your district.
  • How often. Message frequency varies with your district’s activity.
  • To-do reminders. Only if you choose them in your to-do settings.
  • Quiet hours. You can set times when no texts or calls reach you; what would have been sent is kept in the app as a missed notification instead. Security messages always come through, and urgent alerts do unless you turn that off.
  • If your agreement is contested. If your district’s administrator asks us to review whether you agreed to texts or calls, none are sent to you while we review it.
  • Cost. Weaverbird Help Desk doesn’t charge you for the messages you receive; your school or district pays for them. Message and data rates from your mobile carrier may apply.
  • Stop anytime. Reply STOP to any text to stop texts, or turn off texts and calls in your Weaverbird Help Desk profile. Reply HELP for help, or email hello@weaverbirdworks.com.
  • Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
  • Privacy. We never share your phone number or consent with third parties for their marketing. See our Privacy Policy.

Accessibility

We want everyone who works in schools to be able to use Weaverbird Help Desk, and we aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA. If anything on our website or in the app is hard to use with a screen reader, keyboard or other assistive technology, email hello@weaverbirdworks.com and we’ll work with you to fix it or find another way to help.

Copyright complaints

If you believe something posted in Weaverbird Help Desk infringes your copyright, email hello@weaverbirdworks.com with a description of the work, where it appears, your contact details, a statement that you believe in good faith the use isn’t authorized, and a statement, under penalty of perjury, that your notice is accurate and that you own or are authorized to act for the copyright owner, with your signature. We will review it and remove material where appropriate.

Website disclaimer

The information on this website is for general information about Weaverbird Help Desk. Features, plans and prices may change; the price shown at sign-up applies. Nothing on this website is legal or technical advice. For example, device warranty dates are a tool to help you plan; confirm coverage with the manufacturer or vendor.

What you’ll need to set up Weaverbird Help Desk

You don’t need it all ready before you sign up. Once you sign in, your Get set up checklist walks you through each step, and help is one click away on every page.

To get started

  • Your district’s name and how many campuses you have.
  • A card for after your free month. You won’t be charged during it, and you can cancel anytime.
  • Campus names, with each campus’s address.
  • Your IT team: name and email for each IT admin and technician.
  • Your staff roster (a spreadsheet): name and email are required; campus, role and phone are optional.

Nice to have (add any time)

  • Device details, for the devices you want to track: asset tag, kind, model, serial number, campus and room, and who it’s assigned to.
  • Purchase and warranty details for devices you track.
  • Ticket categories that fit your district. Starter ones fill in for you.

Already keep your roster in Google Sheets or your student information system? Connect it (OneRoster for ClassLink, PowerSchool, Infinite Campus, Skyward and others) and it stays up to date every night.

Nothing to set up for sign-in: everyone can use a password, or sign in with Google or Microsoft when their district email matches.
